1. When is this policy applicable?

This policy is applicable to all personal data collected within the use of the Wattr pool control system. Personal data is all data that can be linked to you as an individual. Examples of the collected personal data: preferred swimming moments, swimming pool configuration (dimensions, appliances...), swimming pool energy consumption...

2. Who uses your data?

The company Sempl BV is responsible for the Wattr pool control system, this company is responsible for the use of your personal data.

3. From who do we use data?

We collect data from every user account of the Wattr pool control system and every control system on its own.

4. What data do we use?

2 types of data are collected:

• Meta data: information about your swimming pool configuration (connected devices, location, construction details, user preferences)
• Time series data: periodically fetched data from sensor measurements and settings from your pool devices (e.g., water temperature, energy consumption...)

5. How do we get this data?

Data is collected in 2 different ways:

• The physical Wattr controller gathering performance data of the different connected pool devices (for example water temperature, heat pump energy consumption...)
• The Wattr mobile application gathering user settings and preferences (for example preferred swimming moments, temperature settings, swimming pool configuration...)

6. Why do we use your data?

We only use your personal data for the goal of the Wattr pool control system: improving energy efficiency of the swimming pool control, monitoring of pool performance, and integrating all pool controls.

7. How long do we retain your data?

All time series data (for example measured temperatures) is retained for a period of 5 years. This makes sure we can train your digital pool model as accurately as possible. All data older than 5 years will be deleted automatically. Meta data (pool configuration, connected devices...) is stored as long as the Wattr system is active.

8. With who do we share your data?

We only share certain data when integrating with other systems, for example when you want to integrate your Wattr controller with your home automation system or household energy management system. This integration will only be done with your consent.

9. Where do we store your data?

All data is anonymously collected and stored within the European Economic Area (EEA).

10. How safe is the data stored?

We do our very best to guarantee the security of your data. Measures are taken to provide this security on technical and organisational level. Professional authentication providers are used to make sure your data is anonymous and advanced security measures are taken to make sure the data does not get into the wrong hands.
